BEFORE THE FIRST USE

Before the appliance is used for the first time,

remove all packing. Insert the batteries into the

battery compartment (7)

Be careful!

Do not use the appliance if

you have cardio stimulators or other
electronic medical appliances inside! Make

measurements at the same time of the day as the
appliance is sensible for body water content. Always
step on with bare feet in the middle of the platform
with the electrodes.

OPERATION

Weighing

1. Place the scale on a flat solid horizontal sur-

face. Do not put the scale on carpets or other

soft coatings, since this will affect the accu-

racy of measurements.

2. To switch on the scale, press On/Set button

(1) and wait till “0.0” appears on the display.

Choose the measurement — kg, lb, st by pressing Up/Down buttons

(4). Evenly distribute the weight, and stand still. Keep waiting for

several seconds, until the appliance counts the result, which will first

blinks two times on the display (2)

3. When measurements are over, get off from the platform (1)

The scale will automatically switch off in 8 seconds.

Note 1

: if the weight measured exceeds the permissible load

(180 kg), the display (2) will show «OL» indicating
that the permissible load has been exceeded.

Note 2

: if the scale display (2) will show «Lo», this means

that the batteries are exhausted and need replacement.
Open the compartment cover (7) and carefully
remove the batteries. Observing the polarity, insert
new batteries in the appliance.

Note 3

: if after the weighing, the display (2) shows «Err»,

this means that an error occurred during the weighing
process. Repeat the weighing procedure again.
Measurement errors can occur when fat percentage is
under 3% or exceeds 50%.

Keep waiting for a few seconds to allow the appliance to calcu-

late the result.

5. Once finished the weight, body fat percentage, water percent-

age, muscle percentage, bone weight, kcal and Body Mass

Index will be displayed alternatively for 3 timed before the

scales automatically turn off.

6. One of 3 indicators will light on showing the fat percentage

(blue – underweight, green – healthy, red – overweight).

7. The scale switches off automatically once the measurement is over.

Note 1:

if you step on the electrodes (3) wearing shoes or

stocks, the scale will not be able to calculate the
percentage content of water/ fat, and in this case the
display (2) will show “– – –”.

Note 2:

body water and fat readings and recommended

calorie intake will appear 3 times one after another.

Note 3:

if the body fat content is lower than 3.0% and

exceeds 50.0%, “Err” will appear on the display (2).

CARE AND CLEANING

1. Wipe the appliance with a damp lint free cloth,

wiping it dry, so that there are no water marks

on the tray (1)

side the appliance. Do not use hard abrasive

materials and substances for cleaning.

2. Always keep the appliance in a horizontal

position in a dry, cool place. Do not store the

appliance in places with high humidity or temperature.

SAFETY MEASURES

This appliance is powered by batteries, therefore

during operation it is necessary to comply with the

following safety measures:

Before using the appliance with batteries, study

directions for their use.

!

Only use the batteries as recommended by the

manufacturer

!

It is not recommended to use batteries and accumulators in the

appliance at the same time, since it will cause quick discharge

of the battery.

!

It is strictly prohibited to re-charge batteries as it can cause an

explosion.

!

To charge re-chargeable batteries use only chargers recom-

mended by the manufacturer.

!

Before turning the appliance on make sure the batteries are set

correctly and are in good working conditions.

Do not use batteries with visible marks of oxidation.

!

If the corrosion liquid comes in contact with the skin or the eyes,

immediately wash them with plenty of water, and if any is in-

gested – drink a lot of water, cause vomiting and go to the doctor.

If the appliance is not going to be used for a long period of time,

it is recommended to take the batteries out of the appliance.

!

Do not use the appliance where the air may contain volatile

flammable substances.

!

In cases where liquid has got inside the appliance, take out the

batteries. See the attached instruction to become acquainted

with their further use.

!

Do not use the scale near electromagnetic radiation sources

(computers, radio telephones etc.).

!

Do not keep the scale near heating appliances, heating systems,

or in the direct sun.

SPECIAL SAFETY MEASURES

Use the appliance only for purposes stipulated

by this instruction book.

!

Do not try to repair the appliance independently,

go to an authorized service center.

!

Only perform the weighing of children and

people with limited physical abilities under strict

supervision.

!

Only use the scale on a hard horizontal surface.

!

Do not stand on the tray with wet feet since it can be slippery.

Always make sure that the scale is dry.

!

While weighing, always stand in the central part of the tray in

order not to overturn the scale or fall off.

!

Try to evenly distribute the load on the tray of the scale.

!

During weighing do not lean over other objects.

!

Whilst standing on the scale, do not make quick movements,

jumps or kicks, as this will cause incorrect operation of the scale

or breakage to the glass and plastic.

!

Only weigh within the limits, indicated on the box of the

appliance.

!

Weighting is recommended to perform at the same time.

!

Results of measuring of fat/water content in the body are not a

medical purpose and are only for the reference.

!

Do not insert foreign objects in the open parts of the appliance.

!

Prevent the appliance from falling or other objects falling onto

the appliance. As this can damage the appliance and affect the

accuracy of measurement during weighing.

!

Prevent water getting inside the appliance.

!

Do not use the scale or store them in places with high humidity

or where water could be spilled on them.

!

Store the appliance in the original package, in a horizontal

position.

!

Do not put foreign objects on the scale.

!

When cleaning the scale, do not use abrasive materials and

cleansers as these can damage the body and parts of the

appliance.

The warrantee does not cover:

– failures due to overloading, improper or careless maintenance,

penetration of liquids, dust, insects and other foreign matters

ИСПОЛЬЗОВАНИЕМ

Перед первым использованием прибора сни-

мите все упаковочные материалы. Вставьте бата-

рейки в отсек для батареек (7) на платформе (1).

Внимание!

Не используйте этот

прибор, если Вы имеете электро
кардиостимуляторы или другие вну
тренние электронные медицинские

устрой ства! Проводите измерение в одно и
тоже время дня, т.к. прибор чувст вителен к
содержанию влаги в организме. Измерение
всегда проводите, становясь босиком по
центру площадки с электродами.

ИСПОЛЬЗОВАНИЕ ПРИБОРА

Взвешивание

1. Установите весы на ровную твердую гори-

зонтальную поверхность. Не устанавли-

вайте весы на ковры или другие мягкие

покрытия, так как это будет влиять на

точность измерений.
