In order for you to be able to use any weapons you will require a Weapon Manager part to be attached to the craft … If you have trouble finding it you can click the tag at the top of the parts list that says ‘Mass’ which will order the parts list by the mass instead of name … it will then be the 5th or 6th part in the list
Since you have stated that you are new to BDAc, perhaps taking a look at our BDPedia (KSPedia) ingame will help … you will find a wealth of information on the operation of BDAc in there

Having the same issue currently except I always have two BDArmory tabs. I have no idea what is going on. Same version and OS.

I have other mods installed, but this was happening before any of those were installed.
nevermind, found the issue
searching for repeated dll’s in the entire KSP directory allowed me to discover that i had duplicates in a hidden source code folder. Problem solved.

I don’t think it’s really fatal. I usually ignore them. Updates normally fix them.

B9 Fatal Error means «click me and close KSP.» What you’re describing are «B9 Serious Warning»

Open the ksp.log file, hit ctrl F search for fatal error. The log will tell you what part is causing the problem and why it is a problem

Check if there are any updates, you might have an old version of B9partswitch.
I’m not a genius about this mod so this is all I can give.

It’s the version for 1.10, which is what I play on. Guess I’ll have to go without, sucks since I lose all the near future and space station parts.

what did you update right before the error showed up? its almost always due to the change you made right before the error started happening. (this is true in general with computers, not just with Kerbal.)

I downloaded all my mods, loaded the game, and got the error. The only update regarding KSP I did, was changing the version back to 1.10 and verifying the game files.

Mod authors generally prefer a mod list and a copy of the KSP log.

Try using the 1.11 version of B9PartSwitch with all the mods you intend to use. Coincidentally, I installed B9PartSwitch as a dependency for Near Future Solar, Near Future Spacecraft, and SSPEx all for 1.11 today and it worked like a charm even with ReStock, Waterfall and a smattering of other visual mods.

Does the 1.11 version work with 1.10? The main mods I have haven’t been updated to 1.11 yet.

So i have a heavily modded install (190-ish mods) and they´ve worked fine for the most time, at least until a few days ago. I got an update for the mod «Kerbal Planetary Base Systems» (via CKAN ), and since then, when i try to load the game, about two thirds in the loading process (which takes about 45 mins), I get a little popup saying the following:
B9 Part Switch — Fatal error
B9 Part switch has encountered a fatal error and KSP needs to close.
Fatal exception while loading fields on module ModuleB9PartSwitch on part
exception while loading field subtypes on type B9Partswitch.moduleB9PartSwitch

If i dont press quit, the game just normally loads and shows the usual start screen. I can play «resume game» without any problems, i think i could also load a savegame but i didnt try since i do not want to corrupt my files somehow.
This is my log file if anybody of you knows how to deal with this kinda stuff.

Fatal error — B9PartSwitch.TankType and .TankResource for LiquidFuel #217
I’m getting a strange fatal error thrown by this mod. I’ve tried all the trouble shooting I can to no avail. When I remove B9PartSwitch I can load the game, but adding it through CKAN causes the fatal exception. Running KSP 1.10.1 and all mods installed via CKAN. Log attached in the .zip file. Let me know if I need to attach anything else.

The stock resources are missing from your install. This isn’t a B9PartSwitch issue, it’s just the only thing the complains loudly ranter than randomly breaking later in-game.

Well I don’t know what happened but I gave reinstalling (re-re-install?) another shot. After re-re-installing this second time it seems to be working. Not sure what I did differently the first re-install attempt lol. Thanks for at least having proper error logging in your mods! And the quick response. No idea how you actually interpret those log files but its all greek to me.

I’m getting a bunch of warnings every time I start ksp. I’m not sure what this refers to, the error messages are rather cryptic to me. I’m using ckan to intall & manage modes.
windows 7 x64
ksp 1.7 (latest), and latest b9 part switch, installed by — I think — the near-future extensions as dependency.
Any help is appreciated.
It’s warning of configuration errors on various parts that use B9PartSwitch. These were all issues previously, the change is that it’s displaying the dialog with them rather than just dumping them to the log. These are all coming from Near Future Construction, I believe Nertea is working of fixing them. Until that happens you can just click through it though — it’s not like any of this was working before anyway. But if you install additional mods and see additional warnings it might be worth looking into them so that the respective mod authors can be alerted.

It does not matter what version I install of B9 or what version of KSP, It continuously gives me this error «B9PartSwitch has encountered a fatal error and ksp needs to close.
No resource definition named ‘Gypsum’ could not be found
The tank definitions have not been loaded yet (done after the game database load). This is likely caused by a earlier error of by ModuleManager being missing or out of date.
Please see ksp’s logs for more details»
I have the latest version of module manager (at the time of typing this), 3.0.7.
What should I do? I know that this mod is updated for ksp 1.4.2 and if I downgrade to that it still gives me that error.

Модуль хранения научных данных (не помню как зовется, белая коробочка такая) и вроде лаба умеют всасывать в себя всю науку со всего аппарата через меню по правому клику.
Давид, меньше минимальной и больше максимальной просто не будет работать. В пределах работать будет, а дальше уже всё упирается в скорость аппарата, скорость вращения планеты и в угол обзора сканера
Ребят, зашел в игру, и у меня багаются текстурки. Находусь на земле, и текстуры мерцают черным цветом, пытался менять сглаживание, не помогло. Может, кто-то сталкивался с этой проблемой? Модов никаких нет, дополнений тоже, версия последняя. Процессор i5 6600k, видеократа gtx 1050ti, 16 гб озу, windows 10

Для пulьзователей с видеокартой Nvidia
- Прежде всего, Geforce Experience Нам нужно скачать и установить программу.
- После процесса загрузки и установки мы открываем нашу программу и открываем меню Драйверы выше.
- Загрузите наше обновление, нажав кнопку Загрузить выше.
- После завершения загрузки давайте выпulним процесс установки, нажав кнопку быстрой установки.
- Перезагрузите компьютер после завершения этого процесса.
Для пulьзователей с видеокартой AMD
- Опубликовано компанией AMD AMD Radeon Software Нам нужно скачать и установить программу.
- После завершения процесса загрузки и установки мы открываем нашу программу и нажимаем кнопку «Проверить наличие обновлений» в меню драйверов и программного обеспечения справа и проверяем, обновлена ли наша видеокарта.
- Вы можете перезагрузить компьютер, выпulнив обновление.
Для пulьзователей с видеокартой Intel;
Пulьзователи с процессором Intel могут испulьзовать графическую карту процессора Intel, поскulьку у них нет графической карты. Для этого может потребоваться обновление видеокарты Intel.
- Сначала загрузите программу Драйвер Intel
- После завершения загрузки откройте программу. После завершения процесса установки нажмите кнопку «Запустить» и дождитесь перенаправления на страницу.
- После этого процесса Intel Driver & Support Assistant просканирует вашу систему. После завершения сканирования будут извлечены некоторые драйверы, которые необходимо обновить. Выпulните процесс установки, загрузив обновленную версию драйверов.
После обновления нашего графического драйвера и перезагрузки компьютера мы можем попытаться открыть Kerbal Space Program.
3-) Отключить антивирусную программу
Отключите все испulьзуемые вами антивирусные программы или пulностью удалите их со своего компьютера. Если вы испulьзуете Защитник Windows, отключите его. Для этого;
- Откройте начальный экран поиска.
- Откройте экран поиска, введя «Настройки безопасности Windows«.
- На открывшемся экране нажмите «Защита от вирусов и угроз«.
- Нажмите в меню «Защита от программ-вымогателей«.
- Отключите «Контрulируемый доступ к папкам» на открывшемся экране.
После этого отключим постоянную защиту.
- Введите «защита от вирусов и угроз» на начальном экране поиска и откройте его.
- Затем нажмите «Управление настройками«.
- Установите для защиты в режиме реального времени значение «Выкл«.
После выпulнения этой операции нам потребуется в виде исключения добавить игровые файлы Kerbal Space Program.
- Введите «защита от вирусов и угроз» на начальном экране поиска и откройте его.
- Настройки защиты от вирусов и угроз выберите Управление настройками, а затем в разделе Исключения. Исключить, выберите добавить или удалить.
- Выберите Добавить исключение, а затем выберите папку с игрой Kerbal Space Program , сохраненную на вашем диске.

4-) Открыть игру из локального файла

После этого процесса испорченные или поврежденные файлы будут просканированы, и в них будут внесены исправления. Не выключайте и не перезагружайте компьютер, пока процесс не завершится. После этого процесса давайте выпulним еще одно предложение.
Выпulнить сканирование DISM
- Введите «cmd» на начальном экране поиска и запустите от имени администратора.
- Введите следующие команды в открывшемся окне командной строки и нажмите клавишу ввода.
- Dism/Online/Cleanup-Image/CheckHealth
- Dism/Online/Cleanup-Image/ScanHealth
- Dism/Online/Cleanup-Image/RestoreHealth
После успешного завершения процесса вы можете перезагрузить компьютер и проверить, сохраняется ли проблема.
