This Elsafe 252-1501 Hotel Safe in Blackpool was failing to open and displaying a 5ER or SER error. We opened the safe up so that the customer could retrieve his passport and other valuables. I have also seen the 252-1511 version of this safe which is hinged on the opposite side.

How do I change the battery on this and what kind of battery does it take??

The batteries are in the back of the door, you will need to have the safe open in order to change the five ‘C’ batteries.

I have the same elsafe 252-1501 that is reading Ser and we can’t open it up anymore. Was working fine till is started to read ‘Ser”. Hinge is on the right of the safe but the face look identical to the one in the photo. How can we get it open?

My Elsafe model 252-1501 will not open when the programed code is put in. The display is showing batt on the display panel and the battery is on the inside.
It will not open when I put in the master code either. If I try more than three times it locks me out for 30 min.
The battery is strong enough for that but wont let me in!! Can you help?

elsafe safe doesn’t want to lock/ close?
So your Elsafe hotel safe doesn’t want to lock. It keeps saying that it’s “open” when it’s closed? The batteries probably need to be replaced.
Here is the instruction manual if you want to read more. Replacing the batteries is pretty simple.

I want to answer your question about Elsafe .
1- it does not open or close mechanically but the screen show that it is open….”open the indoor box move the motor a little it would work if not you can clean the motor by a dry spray and you should spray from back of motor.2-ser error……”open the indoor case and move the gear until you here the sound of micro switch and then do service open with your service link or what else you have.
3-the Elsafe does not open no with correct pass nor lock link or service terminal…”this happens when the elsafe motor does not work so first you can shake strongly and hit it if it does not answered you should open it with drilling to do this first open the front panel and you see 2 hole drill with a little drill in this location.
go 3.5 cm to right from right hole and 3 cm down and then make a little hole there and with a pin or any else try to move the gear from up to down and gradually the lock will open. -

Это довольно распространенная и досадная ситуация — пользователь закрывает сейф и забывает кодовую комбинацию. Такое может произойти в офисе на работе, гостиничном номере или дома. Никто от этого не застрахован.
Первым делом нужно определить модель сейфа. Помочь с этим могут гарантийный талон, инструкция к замку и паспорт сейфа. Даже если самостоятельно открыть замок в итоге не получится, эта информация пригодится специалисту по аварийному вскрытию.
Если сейф был куплен очень давно, а гарантийный срок вышел и паспорт выброшен — попробуйте найти документы о покупке, номер заказа, адрес магазина. Возможно, продавец поможет идентифицировать ваш сейф, вышлет инструкцию к замку или подскажет актуальный телефон сервисной службы.
Итак, приступаем к вскрытию сейфа — наши действия будут определяться в первую очередь типом замка, и во вторую его конструкцией.
Как открыть кодовый механический замок.
Этот замок имеет характерную поворотную ручку с лимбом (металлическим кольцом с нанесенными рисками), с помощью которой набирается кодовая комбинация. Вот так он выглядит.
На всякий случай напомню принцип его работы. Чтобы набрать кодовую комбинацию из четырех цифр, нужно крутить туда-сюда диск 10 раз: четыре раза по часовой первую цифру, три раза против часовой — вторую, два раза по часовой — третью, и один раз против часовой — четвертую. Такие замки либо предусматривают возможность смены кода, либо нет. Во втором случае кодовая комбинация устанавливается на заводе и больше никогда не меняется. Узнать заводской код такого замка можно по серийному номеру, обратившись в сервисную службу или непосредственно на завод. Серийный номер и кодовая комбинация указываются в паспорте или инструкции по эксплуатации сейфа. Вот пример, как это выглядит.
Если у вас кодовый замок со сменным кодом, то проблема серьёзнее. Попробуйте заглянуть в инструкцию, возможно вы не удосужились сменить предустановленную комбинацию. Тогда можно воспользоваться ею. Если же нет, придется звонить в сервис по аварийному вскрытию.
Как открыть кодовый электронный замок.
Характерной чертой этих замков является кнопочная клавиатура для ввода кодовой комбинации. Световая и звуковая сигнализация упрощают программирование и эксплуатацию замка. Для питания используются обычные батарейки. Вот как выглядят эти замки.
Некоторые модели оснащены функцией аварийного открывания, позволяющей открыть сейф без кода с помощью специального «мастер-ключа». Кроме того, на внутренней стороне дверцы может быть кнопка для сброса действующего кода.
Возможно, ваш замок поддерживает такую функцию, а вы и не знали. Загляните в инструкцию, чтобы уточнить так ли это. Если так, ищите мастер-ключ.
Если замок не поддерживает функцию аварийного открывания или мастер-ключ утерян (предусмотрительно заперт в сейфе), попробуйте набрать заводской мастер код, указанный в инструкции — возможно, что вы забыли его поменять после покупки сейфа. Обычно это примитивный код, типа 1-2-3-4-5-6. Если мастер-код был всё-таки изменен и впоследствии утерян, придется звонить в сервис — без помощи специалиста аккуратно открыть сейф не получится.

Если ничего из вышеописанного не помогло, придется обращаться за помощью к профессионалам. Аварийное вскрытие своего сейфа лучше доверить специализированной организации с хорошей репутацией. Здесь смогут обеспечить не только профессиональный сервис, но и конфиденциальность. Если таких не знаете, обратитесь в магазин где был приобретен сейф.
При разговоре со специалистом будьте готовы сообщить ему бренд и название модели вашего сейфа, тип замка. Чем полнее будет информация, тем быстрее и точнее он сможет определиться с методикой вскрытия, необходимыми инструментами, стоимостью работ.
Очень хорошо, если мастеру раньше уже доводилось вскрывать сейфы подобные вашему. В идеале сейф вскрывается без повреждения, восстанавливается работоспособность старого замка или меняется на точно такой же новый.
Советы владельцам кодовых сейфов:
— не храните инструкцию по эксплуатации и паспорт сейфа в сейфе — вам их будет очень не хватать, когда забудете кодовую комбинацию. Мастер ключ тоже хранить в сейфе не нужно.
— не выкидывайте документы о покупке сейфа, они будут подтверждением для сервисной службы, что вы являетесь законным владельцем сейфа. Могут помочь при идентификации сейфа.
— если вы «продвинутый» пользователь ПК, можно пользоваться менеджерами паролей. Например, KeePass.
— найдите приличную организацию по аварийному вскрытию, запишите контакты в телефонную книгу. Это гарантированно поможет открыть любые заблокированные двери — сейфа, квартиры, авто.
