I have a copy of Draogn Age Origins on DVD as well as a Digital Copy of DAO Ultimate Edition from Impulse and both editions are giving these errors

Whe the configureation utility loads I get the Runtime Error that just tells me that «This application requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unsusal way. Please contact the application’s support team for more information»  The error goes away when I set ti to run in compatability mode for Windows Vista SP2, but it treast every time as the first time the game has run. Ive tried reinstalling the game, both ways and from Origin but nothing changes. I’ve also tried reinstalling the Visual C++ 2005 Redistrobuteable, though that doesn’t work either.

The game can be opened by directly clicking the icon for it in «C:Program Files (x86)Dragon Agebin_ship» but it doesn’t show that any DLC is installed or Available for Download. I’ve Already tried restarting the Update service and the Updater Diagnostic program doesn’t change much either. Although when I go to open the properties for the Updater Service, Im told that «The system cannot find the file specified.

I have the 1.05 Patch installed.

I’ve Also updated the graphics card drivers, but no change occurred.

I also HAve Dragon Age 2 (Downloaded from Impulse) on my PC and it doesn’t give me any of these problems. I also have DAO installed on my Laptop and it works fine there.

Ill include the Laptop’s specs for comparison.
