Battlefield 2042 ошибка origin

**Solved!
Below are the steps I followed:

1- Manually uninstall Origin + remove these 3 folders:
a. Delete Origin folder in C:ProgramData (Do not delete the LOCAL CONTENT folder in this origin folder)
b. Delete Origin folder in C:Users<username>AppDataLocal
c. Delete Origin folder in C:Users <username> AppDataRoaming
2- Run CCleaner (Health Checkup + Customized clean up + Registry clean up)
3- Restart the router/modem + unplug any electricity source from the computer for a few minutes
4- Do a Clean Boot (deactivating all non microsoft services, only leaving Steam Service).
5- Download the latest version of Origin and install it with admin rights (click right on the launcher and select «Run as administrator»).
6- Launch Battlefield 2042 from Steam
7- It worked for me!

**

Since Thursday September 15th, when I launch the game «Battlefield™ 2042» on Steam or Origin, Origin starts, loads normally with all its features, and then I receive the error message «Well That Didn’t Go as Planned».

I cleaned Origin’s cache (all 3 folders), restarted my computer several times, used WiseCleaner to clean the registry and remaining files, reinstalled Origin with the latest online version, reinstalled the entire Battlefield 2042 game from Steam, clicked on «Verify integrity of games files», but I still have the same error message.

What intrigues me is that when I start Origin, I have access to all the features. I can even play one of my games by launching it from Origin (Plant vs Zombies).

It’s only when I launch the Battlefield game that I get this error message, from Origin and from Steam.

The game was working without any issue the day before.

My GTX 1080 drivers last update was done on Sept 8th.

I saw my Win10 got updated around this time with KB5017308, KB5017500 and KB5017903.

Do you have any recommendations?

Edit
Adding more elements that I tried without success:

— Emptying Steam cache

— Changing router DNS Server from CIRA (Canadian), to ISP, and after to Google

Battlefield 2042 Custom Server

The open beta for testing Battlefield 2042’s performance has recently been released and players in bulk have registered for it. The early access of this open beta test was also out for the players who pre-ordered this game before. Under the Open Beta test developers analyze the game’s performance by taking players’ feedbacks. The developers use open beta players as the test group to find bugs in the game and eventually fix them before the full release.

So, encountering bugs in an open beta version of a game is quite ordinary. One of the bugs or errors that has been massively reported by the open beta players is the “Origin/EA Like a Super Hero” Error. If you are also facing this error while playing Battlefield 2042, then you must read this article till the end to find out its fix.

Before heading towards the fix, let’s talk about Battlefield 2042 briefly. This game is seventeenth installment in the Battlefield series and is the successor of Battlefield V. This title has brought a noticeable change in the Battlefield series. Battlefield 2042 is the first game in the series that will feature only multiplayer gameplay. Also, this is the first time when a Battlefield game will be featuring cross-play between Windows, Xbox, and PlayStation. Coming back to the main topic, here is everything you need to know about “Origin/EA Like a Super Hero” Error and its fix.

Fix: Battlefield 2042 Origin/EA Like a Super Hero Error

Many players who have opted for playing the open beta of this game are facing this issue. This issue is occurring when players are trying to launch their game through PC. This error is not letting players pass through and therefore hampering them from launching and playing the game. So, how to fix it? Here are some steps that you need to follow to eliminate this error:

  1. Open the home screen on your PC.
  2. Press “Ctrl + Shift + Esc” to open the task manager.
  3. Here, select any file that is running in the background named after “Origin” or “EA” and click on “End Task” These can be EA Background Service or OriginWebHelperService, etc. Any other tasks that are running with their name initiating with EA or Origin must be ended.
  4. Now, try to launch this game from Origin, EA launcher, or Steam. If this error pops up again while launching this game through Steam, then just open Origin launcher in the background and try again.
  5. Once this is done, you will be able to log in into your EA account and play the game.

So, this was all about fixing the “Origin/EA Like a Super Hero” Error.

There have been reports of players facing the “Unable to connect to EA servers” error message when trying to play Battlefield 2042. While this error message usually occurs when the servers are down for maintenance, that may not always be the case as some users have encountered the error message while others were able to play the game without any issues. In such a scenario, other factors like third-party software on your system as well as your client’s files can end up causing the problem. Regardless, do not worry as we will take you through the process of solving the error message in question via the different methods that have worked for others facing the same issue.

Unable to Connect to EA Servers Error Message

As it turns out, Battlefield 2042 has an open beta going on where users that have preordered the game or have an EA Play subscription can play and try out the game. These beta phases can really help a lot with fixing several bugs in the game before the official launch and as a result, the official release of the game goes smoother. If you are unable to join the open beta due to the error message mentioned above, do not worry as you are not the only victim. Before we show you to resolve the error, let us first go through the potential causes of the issue so that you are able to isolate the source of the problem. With that said, let us get started.

  • Third-Party Antivirus — One of the reasons that you may encounter the error message in question is when a third-party antivirus program on your computer is blocking the game from establishing a connection. Such things are pretty common with the third-party antivirus software and in order to fix it, you will have to disable your antivirus program before opening up the game.
  • Servers Maintenance — The main reason that the issue occurs is when the servers are down for maintenance. This usually happens when developers are trying to fix issues that are interfering with player connections like the QR code error. In such a scenario, you will have to simply wait it out and reach out to them for updates.
  • Origin Cache — Another reason that can trigger the problem in question is the cache files of the Origin game client. When you are having problems with your games, clearing out the cache can often help resolve such issues which can be the case here as well. This can be safely cleared out as the cache is generated automatically again when you open up the client.

Now that we have gone through the possible list of causes of the “Unable to connect to EA servers” error message, let us get started and show you the different methods that can help resolve the issue. So, without further ado, let us jump right into it.

Restart Origin

As it turns out, the first thing that you should do when you encounter the error message in question is to simply restart your Origin client. In some cases, the services associated with the Origin client may malfunction and they only require a simple restart to resolve the issue. This has been reported by users who fixed the problem by just restarting their Origin client. When you restart your client, the Origin services will restart as well and as a result a fresh connection will be established to the servers which can resolve the problem for you. Therefore, go ahead and completely exit Origin first and then launch it again to see if the issue has been resolved.

End EA App Processes

In addition to the Origin client, some users may also be using the EA desktop to launch the game. When you launch Battlefield 2042, certain EA processes in the background are also started that are required by both the EA app and the game. As it turns out, in some cases, these processes may not function properly and you would need to completely restart the app in order to resolve the issue. To do this, you will have to kill the processes from the Task Manager and then start the EA desktop app instead of simply restarting it. Follow the instructions down below to end the EA processes:

  1. First of all, go ahead and close your game.
  2. Then, open up the Task Manager. To do that, right-click on the Windows icon on your taskbar and then choose Task Manager from the menu that appears.
    Opening up the Task Manager
  3. Now, on the Processes tab, locate EA, EA Background Service and EA Desktop processes.
    Task Manager Processes Tab
  4. Select each process one by one and then click the End task button at the bottom right corner.
  5. Once you have done that, open up the EA app again on your computer.
  6. Launch Battlefield 2042 and see if the problem is still there.

Turn off Third-Party Antivirus

In some cases, the error message in question may also be triggered by the third-party antivirus software that is installed on your system. Problems like these are pretty common and they are often related to the third-party antivirus program on your computer. This happens due to a false positive because of which the antivirus program blocks your computer from establishing a connection with the EA servers. In order to fix this, you will have to turn off your antivirus program temporarily before you launch the game. After disabling the antivirus software, open up the game and see if that resolves the problem.

Disabled Third-Party Antivirus

Clear Origin Cache

Finally, if the above solutions do not circumvent the error message for you, it may be that the error is being caused by your Origin client’s cache. Cache is basically temporary files that are stored on your computer that store some information about the way you use the app to improve and speed up the experience. When you are facing issues with your games on Origin, clearing out the cache can often help solve them. It is also perfectly safe to do as these files are generated automatically when you launch the Origin client again. To clear out the cache, follow the instructions down below:

  1. First of all, open up the Run dialog box by pressing Windows key + R on your keyboard.
  2. Type in %ProgramData% in the Run dialog box and hit the Enter key.
    Opening up the ProgramData Directory
  3. In the ProgramData folder, locate and open up the Origin folder.
    Opening up the Origin Folder
  4. Now, inside the Origin folder, delete all the files and folders except LocalContent.
  5. Once you have done that, open up the Run dialog box again by pressing Windows key + R.
  6. This time around, type in %AppData% and hit the Enter key.
    Opening up the AppData Directory
  7. Now in the Roaming directory, locate the Origin folder and delete it completely.
Deleting Origin Folder in Roaming Directory
  8. After that, in the address bar, click on AppData to move to the AppData folder.
    Navigating to AppData Folder
  9. There, open up the Local directory and inside of it, look for the Origin folder. Delete the Origin folder.
Deleting Origin Folder in Local Directory
  10. After doing that, go ahead and perform a system restart. Once your computer boots up, login to Origin and open up the game to see if the issue still persists.
